Emotional

I don't know if everyone feels this way.
Does it have something to do with my years as a military wife?
I will really cry when we sing the patriotic songs today.

Happy Birthday us.

always. I always cry when we sing patriotic songs. and when i see a soldier in uniform. it's a little embarrassing, but i get over it (the embarrassment) quickly.

I'm a blubbering mess, too. Second and third verses of the anthem are such tear-jerkers! You should have seen me this morning when the firefighters came by at the parade. These guys go into a burning building to save a complete stranger! Putting your life on the line for another--how can I not cry? Ahh!

I think sometimes as Military Families we are overlooked, because we are not the ones on the front line. From my experience, my pride and love for my country grew every time Wade was deployed to help "save" another country, people, etc. I think this is a special feeling that you are blessed with, by a lifestyle that your family lives.

This is the first time I have seen your blog. You are great Cindy!!
