Outings

From IrishViews.com
Did you ever play the dandelion game?
When we were kids, we put a dandelion under someone's chin.
If their chin turned yellow, that meant they liked butter.
And if they liked butter, we would all yell, "ewwww!"
As if that was the worst thing ever to like.
from MentalFloss.com
But I knew what the worst thing was.
And I liked it.
Cafeteria spinach.
I know.
Shameful.
Imagine the social ramifications if my secret got out.
from Mlive.com
But it's time.
And as long as I'm outed,
here's a list of my secret food shames:
-meat loaf
-bologna (baloney!) sandwiches
-hot dogs
-McDonalds' cheeseburgers
-McDonalds' chicken McNuggets
-most things McDonalds
-margarine (the salty kind)
-Kraft macaroni and cheese
-liver pate
-cooked spinach, still, especially with a little vinegar

And if you go out for Indian Food with me,
I will order the Saag Paneer.
You may have to look away.
Saag Paneer from palateers.com
Will you still be my friend?

What is your secret food shame?
You'll feel better when you are outed.
And I will still be your friend.

my biggest shame is that there are things i cannot even try... like shrimp(and maybe saag paneer?). but i also really like, oh, shoot. here it goes: hot dogs. with lots of relish and mustard and onions

Vegemite...I haven't yet tried that. I will put it on my list.

I forgot to add that I also love "church lady salad." You know, anything with jello and cool whip and usually involving cottage cheese. I tell myself it is for the protein, but really it is for the cool whip (aka processed non-dairy whipped topping!).

I will even tell you if you have spinach in your teeth! Should we go for Indian food in the new year?

I remembered one...stale gingerbread houses.
